Professional, not aggressive
Effective recovery does not require intimidation. Firm, courteous, factual contact resolves the large majority of accounts — and protects the relationships behind them.
Merion exists to help Australian businesses turn overdue invoices back into working capital — professionally, compliantly, and without burning bridges.
Merion Pty Limited is a commercial debt recovery firm working with businesses in Queensland, Victoria, New South Wales and the ACT. We specialise in recovering outstanding business-to-business accounts: the unpaid invoices that quietly erode cash flow and tie up the time of the people who should be running the business.
Merion has been trading since February 2025. We began with a hands-on, manual approach — close personal attention to every account — and as we have grown, we have systematised what that early work taught us, investing in the technology and process that let us deliver the same care at greater scale.
We are a growth-stage business, backed by our clients, private investors and lenders, with three funding rounds completed during 2025. That backing lets us invest ahead of revenue — in people, technology and compliance — so the service is built properly for the long term. Today we manage around $3 million in debtor payments each year on behalf of our clients.
We were built on a simple observation: most overdue invoices are not disputes — they are a cash-flow problem on the debtor's side, or an account that has simply slipped down the priority list. Approached the right way, the majority resolve without conflict. For our clients that means recovered funds and reclaimed time; for the people we contact, a process that is clear, fair and free of pressure tactics. We think both can be true at once.

Figures are indicative of current operations and are reviewed regularly.

Effective recovery does not require intimidation. Firm, courteous, factual contact resolves the large majority of accounts — and protects the relationships behind them.
We build our process around the ACCC and ASIC debt collection guideline, the Australian Consumer Law and the Privacy Act. Compliance is the starting point, not an afterthought.
We use modern tools and clear data to prioritise accounts, trace contacts and lift recovery rates — bringing efficiency to a process that is too often manual.
Our commission-based model means we only succeed when you do. Your result is our result — there is no clearer way to align our interests.
Every business we deal with — client or debtor — is entitled to a process that meets its legal obligations and treats people fairly. We publish how we are regulated, the standards we hold ourselves to, and the rights of anyone we contact.
Tell us about your outstanding accounts. The first conversation is always obligation-free.
