Costs & fees

Debt collection fees, explained

Merion's commission model is simple: no upfront fee, no recovery no commission, and no hidden costs. Here's exactly how it works.

Fee structures in debt collection can be confusing, so we keep ours straightforward. Merion works on commission — a percentage of what we actually recover on your behalf. You pay nothing to refer an account and nothing while we work it. A fee only applies when money comes in, which means our incentive is exactly the same as yours: to recover the maximum, as efficiently as possible.

There are no retainers, no per-letter charges and no surprise add-ons. Before we begin, we give you a free appraisal of the account and explain how the commission applies in plain language, so there are no unexpected deductions later. The model works across all the commercial accounts we handle in Queensland, Victoria, New South Wales and the ACT.

  • No upfront fee to refer or assess an account
  • Commission charged only on amounts recovered
  • No retainers, subscriptions or hidden per-letter costs
