Yes. You are entitled to tell us how you would prefer to be contacted, and we will record and respect a reasonable preference — including a request to be contacted in writing only, by email or by post.
Putting contact in writing can make a matter easier to manage: you have a record of everything, and you can respond in your own time. The only thing worth keeping in mind is that a written-only channel can be a little slower, so allow time for replies.
To set a contact preference, simply let us know by phone or email, quoting your reference number. If at any point you would like to change it again, that is no problem.
