If we have reviewed your complaint and you are not satisfied with the outcome, the matter does not end there. Several independent bodies can consider concerns about debt collection conduct.
You may raise the matter with the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) or the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC), which jointly oversee the debt collection guideline. For debts connected to a financial service or product, the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA) provides free, independent dispute resolution.
If your concern relates to how personal information has been handled, the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) can also assist. We will provide the details you need to escalate, and we cooperate fully with any external review.
