Can someone deal with Merion on my behalf?

Hardship & support

Yes. You are welcome to have someone act on your behalf — a free financial counsellor, a family member, a friend, or another adviser. Many people find it easier to have support when dealing with a debt.

So that we can speak with your representative, we need your consent. This protects your privacy: it confirms that account information is only shared with someone you have actually authorised. You can give consent by contacting us and telling us who you would like to act for you.

We are comfortable working with financial counsellors and other representatives, and doing so will never disadvantage you. If you would like free, independent help, the article on financial counselling explains how to find it.
