Secure by default
Card payments handled by a PCI-compliant provider — we never store card details.
Merion accepts debtor payments securely online. This policy explains how payments, overpayments, errors and card chargebacks are handled.
Payments made to Merion are payments toward a genuine debt owed to one of our clients. Card payments are processed by a PCI-compliant payment provider; Merion never sees or stores your full card number. Bank transfers are matched to your account using the reference number on your notice.
Because payments settle a real debt, they are generally final. We will, however, promptly correct genuine errors and refund overpayments, as set out below. If you believe a payment was taken in error, contact us before raising a chargeback so we can resolve it quickly.
